Progress Update 3

My college has recently split up for summer and the other members of my group have been on holiday, the distance between us and our need for a break has resulted in almost no communications between us and not much work being done. However, we are all back in touch again now and we have got back on top of the workload. The break has been very insightful for all three of us as we were able to take a step back and look at what we really want from our product. Our ideas have deviated slightly from what we originally thought we could create due to practicality of the process.

Progress Update 2

Based on our coursework from last year, I will be taking the lead on the ancillary tasks as that is where my strengths lay. I will still be putting in an equal effort to the main task as my other group members, however I will most likely be following their lead in it. In taking this responsibility I hope to be able to showcase the skills that I have picked up over the course. Also, I hope to teach my fellow team members some of these skill in order to apply them to the main task. This learning process will hopefully go both ways and they can teach me what they have learnt in order to be able to put in as much effort as is possible.

Progress Update 1

In a quick report, my group has decided that in order to create a successful product, we must keep in mind practicality. To do this we have begun to think about production, narrative and story. Not only have we begun this but we have also came up with 2 contingency plans in case of  any doubts of practicality. My personal role in this, is deciding how were going to link the magazine review to the film itself. Also, with help of last years research and experience gained, a layout and style. It is possible that the film review may be found in a special edition of my magazine brand that I created last year.
