Preliminary Plot Blocking Graph

Before finalising our ideas and putting them into the final pitch, we created a few scene cards in order to make it much clearer the 'reality' portion of or piece described in the short film final research post.

Clear scene cards to get the plot down

This is helpful before moving into the production planning stage. It allows us to build character, dialogue and shot concepts on a clear base. Although preliminary, it really does give us a feel as to what we will be creating with our film. It may be very brief but we feel like this is a very good start.

We opened up a dialogue with James a few days ago that was really insightful. Not only does he understand and agree with what we're trying to do, but it shows us how willing he was to suggest and engage with our story idea.

Overall, I feel confident moving into the production stages now.
